And this is just the beginning.
The release of the leaked Paradise Papers has uncovered the complex world of global tax avoidance, showing it to be a much bigger business than previously supposed.
But it appears for now that most of the questions raised are ethical rather than legal.
The Paradise Papers have shown that many Germans are among those who park their money in tax havens.
